Opening November 22, 2024!
Genth Tree Farm was established by Noel and Kathryn Genth in 1965 and sold their first Christmas Tree in 1972. In 1978, after the passing of Noel, the business continued under the supervision of Gene and Benita Genth. The farm continued in operation until retail sales were closed in 2003.
Fast forward 15 years later…
In 2018, after a couple years of planning, Ben and Erin Wagner & Ryan and Lori Genth planted approximately 1,400 trees, followed by another 1,200 trees in 2019 to bring the Genth Tree Farm back to life. Roughly 1,200 trees have been planted each year thereafter…
The Genth Tree Farm will re-open for business in 2024! We can’t wait to see you!
Located west of Columbus, GTF consists of approximately 6 acres of trees, with another 40 acres of wooded land. Our farm is growing White and Scotch Pine, as well as Norway Spruce and Canaan Fir. As we are just getting established, we have a limited supply of our own trees. We will be supplementing the operation with Pre-Cut Fir trees. Our goal is to be able to grow enough of our own trees to keep up with the demand of the market.
Open today | 09:00 am – 05:00 pm |
